Practice makes....better!

I got a Kitchenaid for Christmas and I am so excited about it.

I wanted to give her a test spin so I made some cupcakes and icing.

Like I said...practice makes better....I need a little more work!

But they look cute and taste good...

I have also been busy making a Family Rules chart....this one was for may mother-in-law who just came to visit us for an early Christmas with the kids.

The rules I put on hers are:

1. Thank God for this day

2. Sing silly, hug often, snuggle, and say I love you

3. Be creative at all times

4. Be respectful and chose wisely

5. Pay with Kisses

6. Share everything except bad ideas

7. Celebrate others joy

8. Say what you are sorry for, forgiveness is a must

9. Use kind words

10. To much TV is bad, to much reading is good

11. Love the Lord your God

I made this with 1 canvas, scrapbook paper, modge podge, letter stickers, and stamps.

I still feel like it is missing something...I will have to walk around in the world for a bit and think on it!

Not to hard right!?!?!?

I am thinking of opening my own business hosting tea/princess birthday parties for children ages 3-tweenager.

The parties would vary but the basics would involve dressing up, painting nails, tea, cupcakes, craft, parade....things similar to that. It would vary from party package selected.

A little something for the scrapbooker in me!

Ah....Scrap booking, I love it, but I can never seem to find the time anymore.

Or should I say justifying time to spend on it....I always feel like I should be doing something else.

So here is to the HUGE pile of laundry that I let slide to get this little baby done!

Micheal's had all of the Halloween stuff soooo cheap. A girl can't pass that up so I got this little album, some stickers, paper, and a few spools of ribbon for maybe $7....and this is what I came up with.

It's nothing to big, but just enough to show the girls we had fun in 09' and what their costumes looked like! :)

I think the little "bling" on the tooth is great....that is the reason I bought it in the first place!

Halloween D.C. style!

This was our first Halloween in the new house and I have to say it was awesome!

We have a great group of neighbors and everyone is really festive....since Halloween is my fav...they just won my heart! :)

The girls looked adorable...we had a last minute costume change with Faith since the weather was fairly warm we changed her to a Pirate...and it worked out great! She was sooooo cute!

Arrgghhhhhhh......matey!

Cadence didn't do much treating....but that's ok..next year she will be out tearing it up!

Liberty was "Jessie" and we sprayed her hair red....it got all over everything, but who cares right!

Ok, so one of the neighbors had this display....interesting...look at the reaction of Sean below, so funny!

Then they realize...and it is so funny! At one point she picked up the baby and was holding it patting it's back....strange, but hilarious!!!!!!

Hey Gumbi lives in our neighborhood...and who knew he smoked cigars!

So adorable!

This guy.....he came to the door with this huge python....and it's name is "Adolf Hisser!"

The night was great....now it's time for a Butterfinger!!! Bye!
