Danny and I were stationed in Colorado Springs with "Brian McElroy" for about 4 years.
He was a quite, soft spoken, but hilarious person.
On this Memorial Day I would like to honor his family and the many other families that are serving/have served our country...
Brian and Jason were buried together in Arlington National Cemetery. This is a picture of their ceremony.
Danny...you make me proud...you were an awesome soldier
A Colorado Congressman, and General Myers (Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff)
ya, that is the military's highest ranking uniformed officer, and me....in my glory days! :)

What a beautiful tribute.
I spent four years in the USAF and my husband retired from the USAF with 26 years in. We've lost some friends, and it's a painful thing. It's good you wrote this to remind us of the glory people bring to others.
thank-you so much for this post Stacey!! And thank-you for serving our country! I had no idea you used to be in the military. You!
A very nice tribute, thank you for posting this - it is important to honor the memories as you have done.
