Are owls good luck?

Why would I think that?

I got the greatest scraps in a swap I did a few weeks back so

I was thinking of things to make and saw the cutest owls HERE .

My owl is a little wonky and has 2 friends that are not yet put together,

but they will be a wonderful addition to our new house!

Can I get a hip hip hooray............

we are under contract and I think it is all gonna work out!

What a HUGE weight to finally sell my cute, little, adorable house!

I will miss it!

....the hubbie got the final word today on his new job.

He will be leaving in less than 2 weeks and attending a

school in Georgia before returning to D.C. area to start work.

The girls and I will be here for a few more months to

tie up all the lose ends.....oh yeah and

1 minor detail....SELL THIS HOUSE!

Is that a TV show? I need them to come to Texas ASAP!

Now I need to plan a going away party! Any ideas?

Some friends and I have finally decided to go to the local craft fair/trade show this weekend and I am going to try and sell a few tutu's and various other things that I have made along the way!

I am so excited to take my "things" to a show.

I have no "high hopes" about selling a single thing...but if I do it

would be an added bonus!

Just wanted to post a picture of one of the little tutu's that will

be going with me on my little adventure into the

big craft show!

If you live close it is at the Texas Motor Speedway all day Saturday and Sunday.

Do I sound like a 5 year old?

I am digging these new "little" computers!

They are right up my alley....only $298.00

lightweight, small, and don't have a bunch of fancy stuff that

I really never use on a daily basis.

I need something I can use to do schoolwork, my blog, e-mail, Etsy...and that's

just about it!

Have you seen it?

It's the new ACER Aspire in pink !!

Have you heard good things? Let me know...I want one really bad.

We will still keep our desktop, but I would love this for daily use!

I especially like these kind cause they don't make me sneeze! :)

We planted in our flower bed over the weekend (trying to make our house look nicer so it will sell.....hint..hint..hint) and I thought I was going to die....

I asked the girls at Home Depot how they do it and they replied, "LOTS OF CLARITIN!"

for sure.... :)

Anyway....these are so cute and again I attached it to an elastic headband....because...

why else...it is cute! :)

Easter Egg Hunts....

The girls had a blast and there was a "LARGE" amount of eggs

to "find" so it worked out very well.

Easter is so fun...it's not a tough Holiday like Christmas (sTrEsSfUl!!!!).

Just a few eggs, some good food, and lovely family!

No stress holiday....my kinda thing! :)

Martha Stewart and her "people" are something else.

I would love to be on her staff....I did hear someplace that

she makes all her assistants wear crisp white shirts, khaki pants, and ascot things in their pockets.

Oh....and she has 3 assistants....I guess she just likes things uniform?

So. Cute.

Here is a "good thing" that I made this week.

You know how these elastic headbands are all over these days?

I see people wearing them every wear.

So I decided to spruce them up a bit and add some flowers.

I made this little hat and wanted to add something to it.

So I made a clip with 3 flowers, some chipboard, and a few brads and a hair clip.

But I am stumped....so what do you guys think?

It looks cute, but I am thinking I should go a different route with the "middle" maybe a bigger brad or something?

LIFE.....

it has been interesting lately.

So about a month ago Danny started submitting resumes to a few jobs,

you know, just to test the water.

Well.............we got splashed in the water!! :)

He was contacted quite fast and was on a plane that next weekend to

start the interview process!

Things have gone very well and he was offered a position!

WAIT A MINUTE......RIGHT! :)

It is happening so fast...but really it is a wonderful blessing for Danny and our family.

We are excited for this new adventure in our life and looking forward to new things!

Awesome right....until I looked at the cost of housing which increases oh about 200% from TEXAS!

......it will be fine though. We have found some really nice areas w/ good schools that are not crazy expensive!

Anyway...I got some super cute new fabric in the mail the other day from a scrap swap that I am in. I love all of it and can't wait to make a few things.
Isn't the pendant such a cute idea! Man...the things people can make....astounds me!
